Wednesday April third was a long day for this year’s Nebraska Young Artist Award winner Jennifer Franco Escobar and Art instructor Mrs. Zarkowski as they traveled to The University of Lincoln to attend the awards ceremony where Jennifer received a $1000.00 scholarship, if she chooses to attend UNL, to study photography and graphic design.
