We pranked our principal yesterday for his birthday!! Mr. Freeland thought he was needed in a classroom but to his surprise, he saw various versions of himself on the walls! Thanks to Mrs. Behlke for the funny idea and Mrs. Davis for her creative skills and making copies of the coloring pages for our students. Happy Birthday, Mr. Freeland!

Our 2nd graders practiced forming contractions with a fun contraction surgery activity! By “operating” on words, students learned how two words join together using an apostrophe. Hands-on learning for the win! ✂️📘

Our 2nd graders are spot-tacular! 🐶🎉 We celebrated the 101st day of school by dressing up as 101 Dalmatians, and the cuteness level was off the charts. We’ve learned so much this year and had a whole lot of fun doing it! 🤍🖤

We will be having Parent-Teacher Conferences on Monday, Feb 2.

3rd and 4th graders were able to experience a virtual field trip to Grand Teton National Park to learn about winter survival for small animals.

1st harvest with our GrowTower in the Ag room! We started the seeds in early December and have been waiting for this day. Today’s lunch salad bar featured lettuce from our hydroponic unit!

A big day for DCS FCCLA! We took 10 competitors to districts today and in March, we will take 10 competitors to State Leadership Conference!! Congratulations to Lexie, Emma, Ella, Charli, Kenedi, Sasha, Tenlee, Parker, Levi and Eli! We are so proud of you.
