Exploring Culture Through Cuisine Our Spanish 2 students took to the kitchen after learning about elote, esquites, and the differences between Venezuelan and Colombian arepas. Students put their knowledge into practice through this hands-on enrichment activity and even had the opportunity to settle the great arepa debate! A special thank you to Mrs. Anderson for allowing us to use her classroom and providing the space for our students to learn, cook, and experience Hispanic culture through cuisine.

The Dundy County Stratton High School chapter of the National Honor Society is pleased to announce its Fall 2026 Induction Ceremony will be held on Tuesday, September 22nd at 7:00 pm MST in the Media Center. The following students will be inducted: Lila, Jayde, Maelee, Dairian, Esmaye, Char, Reid, AnnaLee, Charli, Gary, and Bailey. Parents, faculty, alumni and community members are welcome to attend and should enter through the east doors by the media center parking lot.

DCS High School Art students were in Grant, NE today for "Chalk the Walk" competition. The 10 students divided up into two teams and created their idea of Legacy .

*the winner was a team from Chase County.

I think the students did a fantastic job of putting their ideas into a well done presentation. They showed great teamwork and competive spirt.

Today, our 4th grade class had a special visitor, former volleyball player of Mrs. Zoltenko, Cayce Barry! Cayce is a Nebraska native who is currently studying agronomy at K-State. She did a great job helping us learn about all of the amazing things agriculture and farming have to offer in Nebraska. We were able to see so many different things, learn about agriculture, and ask all sorts of questions. It was a great opportunity for our students to learn from someone who grew up right here in Nebraska and is continuing her education in a field that is so important to our state. Thank you, Cayce, for taking the time to come visit our classroom and share your knowledge with us!
