DCS FFA had a great morning in Trenton today checking off the first task of the Nebraska Farm Bureau Foundation's Connecting Chapters program! Next we get to read an Ag Literacy book and teach a lesson to an elementary classroom, and finally connect with our County Farm Bureau. After we complete all of the tasks our chapter we be recognized at the state convention in March!

Congratulations to Esmaye for earning a free jacket from the Nebraska FFA Foundation through the "Blue Jackets. Bright Futures." Campaign/Scholarship. Esmaye wrote about the symbolic meaning of the jacket to her, her future goals within FFA and the growth along the way. Esmaye was 1 of 257 (many more applied) members to receive a jacket this year, and the sole recipient from Dundy Co. Stratton. Congratulations Esmaye!

We are hosting the RPAC volleyball tournament on Thursday, October 16. To accommodate this, Dundy County Stratton Schools will be dismissing at 1:00 pm. Buses will run accordingly and there will be no preschool.

We’re excited to be hosting our 3rd Annual 7–12 Science Fair at Dundy County Stratton Schools in Benkelman on Wednesday, December 10th, from 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
We’re currently looking for community members to serve as science fair judges. Judges play an important role in providing feedback and encouragement to our students as they present their research projects.
Judges will receive a stipend and lunch will be provided.

Picture Retake Day is October 13th, 2025.
The dual credit anatomy and physiology class finished their tissue box models of the skin yesterday. These will be delivered to teachers' classrooms throughout the school to show off their work.

Champions! Lady tigers sweep the day finishing 5-0 for the day.

Our Lady Tigers are continuing their winning streak beating Triplanes/Brewster 2-0 and Decatur Community 2-0. They will play in the championship game later this evening.
Our Lady Tigers are starting strong in Oberlin today beating Golden Plains 2-0 and Hoxie 2-0. Next game is against Triplanes/Brewster.
