Dundy County Stratton Schools

We had so much fun harvesting the lettuce we planted back in April in our grow tower! 🌱🥬 It was exciting to see how much it has grown and to enjoy the results of all our hard work. To celebrate, we had a lettuce party and were joined by a few high school students and their teacher. It was a great opportunity to connect, learn together, and enjoy some fresh, homegrown greens! Hands-on learning at its best! 💚

Monday we celebrated a very special wedding… Q and U finally tied the knot! 💍💙 Our class had so much fun being part of their big day. We enjoyed cake, ice cream, and punch to celebrate, and of course ended it with a dance party! 🕺🎉 We were so excited to have our guests join us—Preschool, 1st grade, and 3rd grade made the celebration even more special. What a fun way to learn about how Q and U stick together in words!

Due to a scheduling switch our boys golf team will be golfing in the Ogallala tournament tomorrow (5/14) instead of Oshkosh. Meet starts at 9AM at Crandall Creek Golf Course.

Great day for our golfers at the Cattle Trail Tournament. 2nd place as a team shooting a 345. Individual results, Dante 4th, (81) Owen 6th(83), and Breck 8th (86)!

Yesterday morning, Toby, Kye, Kenzie and Kimber earned a Disco light show for reaching 50 AR points. They have read at least 100 books while in first grade. We are proud of these young readers!

Summer Food Program!
Free meals for anyone ages 1 - 18 will be available at DCS High School Monday-Thursdays beginning on June 1st!

JH Track in Cambridge tomorrow (5/5) has been rescheduled to Friday, however, DCS will NOT attend due to our home Twilight Track meet.

Golf (5/5) at Hitchcock County has been CANCELLED due to the weather.
