DCS placed 1st at the MCC Inter High Day on Feb 5. Several students placed first through third in their category. Way to represent our school!

Next week (2/17-21/25) the DCS FFA will be celebrating National FFA Week! We are excited to bring a week's worth of dress-up days and activities to our students and staff! We hope you'll join in on this fun week! Prizes for best dressed and for activities too!

2nd grade has been working hard learning about the continents and oceans of the world. Next up:learning about the Equator and Prime Meridian!
Surgery day in 2nd grade!! Students worked with words forming various contractions by "removing" letters and stitching the contraction word back together.
We would like to extend a BIG thank you to the Dundy County Hospital for donating the gowns, booties, hair nets, and other supplies!
The Dundy County Stratton School regular Board of Education meeting is scheduled for Thursday, February 13th at 6:00pm mountain time due the RPAC Vocal on Monday February 10th.

Today four DCS FFA members successfully completed interviews for their STATE FFA DEGREES! Applications will be sent to the state for approval! Congratulations Trystin, Laken, Laynee, and Lexie! This award is earned after many, many hours of work in their SAE (Supervised Agricultural Experiences), the agriculture classroom and our FFA chapter! We are so proud of these four for their dedication to the organization and to the future of agriculture!
