5th grade quiz bowl team getting ready for competition at Maywood
The DCS grade school was honored to receive a visit from some of our veterans today. Students were able to thank them for their service as the veterans walked through the hallway and into some of the classrooms.
The third grade wrote thank you letters for veterans, and some even hand delivered their letters. Thank you, Veterans!

2nd grade enjoyed participating in their own Election Day. Students learned about Election Day and why voting is important. Students were also able to vote on their favorite trail mix ingredient.
